There's a club in East London that used to be a public toilet. It's 60 capacity, so quite small, and is only open on Friday nights 8pm-2am, Saturday and Sunday DAYTIME. From about noon-onwards.

Who goes clubbing in the daytime? Fuckheads that have been out all night and want to continue partying, or SUPER fuckheads like myself and Rob who wake up at 7am and go out clubbing.

(Rob and Jon were DJing for this party so we had an excuse :P )

Our friends Tommi and Nick were running this party, and I'm getting involved with them as well as helping them out with the record label they're starting up. BOOM.

I've been helping Rob move into his new place, and the entire house just reeks of Indian curry. It's horrible. They left the place so messy as well, there's grease all over the stove, counters and cupboards, the lawn is a mess and needs the weeds to get pulled and mowed, and the wallpaper is peeling off in loads of places. The landlord said he'll take care of things though so I hope it gets dealt with soon.

We aired out the place and I helped clean up the grease monster of a kitchen. It's looking better already, I know once he and his 2 flatmates move in and get things decorated and get the smell out it will be a really nice place. He's living with Larry and my buddy Rich from my university, woo :D

Looking forward to the next few weeks, I start university on Monday and from there it's freshers week which means probably 2 full weeks of nonstop partying. Sorry liver.

I haven't heard back from MN2S yet, they said they were interviewing 3-4 more people than were going to call back 2 people and from there make their decision....


Tuuune.

asdsaldk I SOMEHOW managed to get an interview for a job at MN2S DJ Agency as the assistant to the agency's manager!!!

I'm off to meet these guys today, they want me to do what I do for Rob and Jon (manage, find gigs, PR, etc)

HAPPY DAYS!

I've been listening to lots of this kind of music lately:




I don't care if the lyrics are stupid. Or if its cheesy. It reminds me of when Rob and I were driving through Holland on our way to Germany.


On the flipside, been listening to some really dark minimal. I saw Audion play a live set at Fabric and it was genius and really inspiring. He's one of the most forward thinking producers and DJs out there.

I'm also going to Minus Presents: Contakt in South London at the end of the month. I got 2 tickets, I'm taking Rob for his birthday :) Also, a few hours before the show they're doing a sneak peak of the documentry and a Q+A with a few people from the record label!!!

Unfortunately, the same night Aphex Twin is playing at Matter. but Contakt is going to be so much better...Aphex Twin will most likely be a mindfuck.
